''MY BUSINESS. INNOVATIVE GAME'' – a virtual world that is accessible via internet, for students, entrepreneurship studies. Players will learn and practice all the key business and marketing skills they'll need to succeed in business. In this game are integrates the main business organizing processes since establishing the business until its liquidation. PRINCIPLE OF THE MODULE. Adequate environment to the situation in Lithuania (2004 – 2012 years). Takes up all 4 economy development stages: expansion, prosperity, crisis, recovery – actual to current business situation. Referring to practically acknowledged laws of economy. Decision relevance and impact depend from the situation, i. e. economic situation and competitor actions. Teams compete between each other, running retail trading. Several companies compete in the same market, fighting for clients, who buy a defined amount of products.
DIDACTIC GOALS. To adapt the theoretical knowledge obtained in lectures (economic models, business laws) by simulating a real business; understanding market environment impact to the capability of adapting to it (decision – making, varying business environment); understanding and learning to make the organization’s strategic decisions (product, price, quality, personnel etc.); understanding company’s marketing complex and finances; planning company’s activities and forecasting financial outcomes; feel the connection between decisions and results; learn to monitor the competitor actions and take up timely actions allocating limited resources; develop teamwork abilities and the ability to govern and make decisions in a limited time.
